Shanghai Children’s Medical Center and Children’s Medical Foundation commemorate the opening of a new Neonatal Care Unit at Bazhong Central Hospital, serving this rural prefecture in northeastern Sichuan Province. Doctors and nurses from surrounding medical facilities also received NRP training in crucial newborn lifesaving skills, as part of a two-year program.

Generously sponsored by HRH Prince Robert of Luxembourg, on behalf of Chateau Haut-Brion, Domaine Clarence Dillon, Bazhong is CMF’s 24th program site in China.
