Congratulations to the inaugural class of CMF Fellowship as they spent four adventurous weeks across four cities in China. Traveling from Asia financial hub to rural China, CMF 2018 Fellowship Cohorts gained hands-on experience on starting a nonprofit fund, making lifelong networks and broadened horizons with corporate mentorship.

The Endowment Fellowship program at Children’s Medical Foundation was a truly transformative experience. For four weeks, we stepped into the real world, dressed up in formal suits, and studied the practical knowledge of non-profit, finance, leadership, and medicine. It was my privilege to be mentored by over 40 speakers that are seasoned professionals working in prestigious corporations. But that’s not all. The program went a step further and offered us the opportunity to fundraise and manage a real investment portfolio. Moreover, we learned about neonatal resuscitation and even spent a week traveling to rural China to see the hospitals and facilities that are built as a result of Children’s Medical Foundation initiatives.

These experiences are beyond the reach of ordinary education in schools, and I am so grateful that I could embark on this sophisticated and charitable journey with Children’s Medical Foundation. – Ryan Jin, 2018 Fellow
