On November 5th, 2024, our CEO and Program Director met with Ms. Wen Yanqiong, the new Director of the Maternal and Child Health Department at the Gansu Provincial Health Commission, along with Ms. Wang Jing. They discussed the progress and future plans of ongoing projects.
Director Wen praised the Foundation for its support in Gansu, highlighting the challenges of this less economically developed region with limited healthcare resources. She expressed hope for increased focus on enhancing neonatal care capabilities.
The team also visited Mr. Jing, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, to update him on the Foundation’s compliant project activities. The CEO reaffirmed our commitment to local regulations, and Director Jing assured full support for our efforts to improve neonatal healthcare in Gansu.
November 11th, 2024 – We are thrilled to share that the Children’s Medical Foundation (CMF) has received significant recognition from Mr. Zhou Xian, Vice Chief of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange at the Yunnan Provincial Health Commission.
The CMF China Team, under the leadership of Program Director Ms. Li Guifang, had the honor of welcoming Mr. Zhou to our Yunnan Overseas NGO Representative Office. The visit fostered an in-depth discussion about CMF’s historical mission, the progress of our ongoing projects, and our future initiatives.
Mr. Zhou expressed his admiration for CMF’s efforts and conveyed a keen interest in joining the Foundation for field visits to project hospitals whenever possible. He also highlighted the importance of CMF’s continued operations in Yunnan Province and other registered locations in strict adherence to local regulations.
