From June 22nd to July 4th, our program evaluation team, consisting of graduate students from the Fudan University School of Public Health in Shanghai, led by Dr. Jiang Hong, traveled to Guizhou province to assess the impact, accessibility, and sustainability of CMF’s comprehensive neonatal healthcare programs. The team was accompanied by CMF’s program director, Ms. Guifang Li, and program officer, Ms. Jingru Liu, who facilitated the evaluation.

CMF’s program and development director, Ms. Bixian Lin, Yale and CSUS summer interns, joined our evaluation team for the Qianxinan site evaluation. At the site, our intern team had the opportunity to interact with Save-A-Baby beneficiaries, tour local prefecture and county-level hospitals, learn about caring for babies in neonatal intensive care through hands-on-learning workshops, as well as interact and exchange ideas with NICU department heads about the future of CMF’s involvement at the hospital.
