On April 10th, Children’s Medical Foundation was invited to speak at the Hong Kong Indian Women’s Club (HKIWC)’s AGM.

CMF shared how HKIWC was a first mover in child health. In 2009, an important grant funded the development of CMF’s 14th NICU in Yan’an Medical University Hospital in Shaanxi province. 16 years on, the NICU continues to admit 850 newborns each year to NICU; saving 13,600 lives-to-date.

CMF’s CEO graciously accepted the 2025 grant, which will fund Every Baby Rescued in Linxia, Gansu province, where only 26 out of 4,539 doctors are neonatologists. 3 hours drive to the nearest capable NICU, the program will make an immediate difference.

Thank you, Mrs. Indra Banga, our champion Ms. Karishma Balani and the Hong Kong Indian Women’s Club Executive Committee and members, for your unwavering support.
