May 26th, 2025 — As part of our visit to Indonesia, CMF’s delegation toured several major healthcare institutions to better understand the country’s maternal and child health system.
At Harapan Kita Hospital, Indonesia’s national maternal and child referral center, and at Cibinong District Hospital, a key secondary-level facility serving the greater Bogor area, the delegation examined the local level of neonatal care through a close look at infrastructure, staffing, equipment, and personnel capacity.
The site visits concluded with a tour of a Community Health Center, where the team met with dozens of midwives to discuss how maternal and child healthcare services are delivered at the community level.
