October 2024 – Every Baby Rescued (EBR) Leshan is off to a promising start, commencing at Leshan People’s Hospital, our program hospital selected for optimal outcomes. The hospital will be the launchpad for subsequent EBR Leshan programs serving Leshan prefecture, and is also home to one of CMF’s Overseas NGO Rep Offices.
As part of this important initiative, Leshan People’s Hospital dispatched a doctor and a nurse to Shanghai Children’s Medical Center in October 2024 to undergo the six-month specialized neonatal training program. This training will greatly enhance Leshan’s capacity and level in safeguarding the healthy development of newborns.
