On May 26th, Children’s Medical Foundation hosted an 18-hole fundraising event in association with The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club, proceeds benefit the “Every Baby Rescued” program aim to reach deeper into rural China where the rate of newborn deaths remains high and situation facing underprivileged families with critically ill newborns. The support of Title Sponsor Rusy & Purviz Shroff Charitable Foundation and The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club were instrumental in the success of the event, The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club offered all-around support for running the event by managing the event operation, venue arrangement, tournament management, green fee, golf cart waiver and food & beverage accommodation for all the participants.
Children’s Medical Foundation welcomed 23 teams for the shot-gun start, the tournament was a success with intense competition and past champions fiercely defending their titles. Sixteen trophies and challenges were sought after, but the HKD$500,000 Hole-in-One prize was left unclaimed.
