The first set of Triplets were born to migrant workers in Honghe, Yunnan, China in Nov 2017. Born premature with low birth weight and a complex delivery, two of the Triplets were in critical condition and needed to be rushed to CMF’s Neonatal Care Unit. Living on $0.38/day*, the Wen Family could not afford the medical expenses so they made the difficult decision to take home their weak babies.
*Extreme poverty by UN standards is $1.25/day.
Thanks to donors who helped fund CMF’s Save-A-Baby Program, the Triplets’ 54-day hospital expense was completely covered, allowing for the babies to recover fully and able to celebrate their First Birthdays!
Please consider making a donation to save more babies in rural Asia.
