CMF’s work saves newborns’ lives by improving healthcare for newborn babies in China/Asia. We work to ensure newborns have access to health facilities and healthcare services in rural China/Asia.

Millions of children in Asia are denied their rights, simply because of who they are or where they are from. In China, in 2017, a staggering 78,000 newborn babies died within the first 28 days of their lives. Many of these deaths can be prevented through improving training and infrastructure of newborn healthcare in rural, underserved areas. We know that to ensure every newborn has the chance for a future, their rights must be upheld.
Through our programs, we put the most vulnerable newborns first and help combat the preventable deaths of newborn babies in China/Asia.

Since CMF was founded 25 years ago, we have continued to develop and implement programs in China to make healthcare available to children by working with national and local governments and hospitals.
